Welcome to Active Attitude!

Active Attitude

Here at Active Attitude it is all about having fun while participating in physical activity!

We are a Northland based organisation which provides opportunities for young people to get active; develop fundamental movement skills; and enjoy recreational sport and fitness.  We also have competitive gymnastics sport options for those that like to compete.  We call these our “academies” and we currently have an Aerobic Gymnastics Academy (all levels), Artistic Gymnastics Academy (Steps 1, 2 & 3), Trampoline Academy (age group levels) and a Tumble Academy (age group levels).

Our vision: Generations of happy and healthy children with positive attitudes towards physical activity.

We are aware of just how important it is for children to have plenty of opportunities to develop fundamental movement skills and we value the significance of the following sports and their ability to develop these skills:

  • Gymnastics (Gymnastics based sports: Artistic Gymnastics, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Aerobics, Acrobatics, Trampoline and Tumbling)
  • Swimming
  • Athletics

Active Attitude is based on the belief that our programmes should help young children develop into happy and healthy young adults. We understand that children are the future and that they deserve our greatest efforts. We strongly believe that when physical activity is taught properly, it can provide the ultimate platform to teach life skills, such as discipline, commitment, courage, confidence and perseverance.
