About Active Attitude

Active Attitude was established in 2007 and produced a children’s fitness DVD titled “Beat the Feet.”

Today, Active Attitude’s focus is on developing quality physical activity programmes to assist young people with leading an active lifestyle through recreational sport and fitness.

The three sports Active Attitude encourages are:

  • Gymnastics
  • Swimming
  • Athletics

These sports provide fantastic opportunities for children to acquire fundamental movement skills and provide great foundations for children wishing to go on and participate in other sports.

Moving to New Zealand wasn’t the only adventurous thing to happen around this time – it was also when Viv learned to skydive, a sport that she thought would be a one-off experience in Taupo, but she was bitten by the adrenaline bug has since achieved medals in the New Zealand Skydiving Nationals in Freefly (a little like gymnastics in the sky), and in the Australian National Indoor Skydiving Championships in Vertical Formation.
