At Active Attitude and Active Swim, we’re growing our team and have multiple positions available, including part-time and full-time opportunities.
We’re especially interested in people with a background in:
- Swimming instruction
- Gymnastics coaching
- Physical education
- Movement, sport or child development

Our full-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with children but also has the organisational skills to support programmes, administration, and the day-to-day operations of a growing children’s activity centre.

Swimming Instructors (Part time: 3-20 hours per week)

We are seeking swimming instructors to join our team. A swim teaching background is preferred although full training will also be provided. An absolute passion for working with children is a must and we require candidates to have already had previous work experience with children.

You are an enthusiastic individual with a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of young people. You bring a coaching philosophy that goes beyond physical skills, aiming to nurture confidence. Organised and reliable, you can balance working independently and collaborating with others, always maintaining a high standard of professionalism.  You understand the importance of following a curriculum and teaching the correct technique.

You have a patient approach to coaching and you are comfortable supporting participants physically when needed. Your strong communication skills make you effective in connecting with children, parents and other coaches. You have experience working with children and ideally come with a background or keen interest in swimming. A clean police vet and reference check (minimum of two references) are essential for this role.
